Call for Proposals: 2022 National Service Training – Dec 31

Posted by America's Service Commissions on November 9, 2021

America’s Service Commissions, in partnership with state service commissions, is pleased to release a Call for Proposals for the 2022 National Service Training regional events.

Interested workshop presenters should submit proposals no later than midnight Eastern Time on December 31. Please review the Call for Proposals Guidelines prior to submission for complete details.

The theme for the 2022 trainings is “Shaping the Future.” We encourage workshop sessions that speak to how we want to shape the future of AmeriCorps and service for programs, commissions, and our local communities.

The 2022 National Service Training events will happen in three regions:

  • April 26-28, 2022: Midwest/North Central/South Central Region · Milwaukee, WI · Hosted by Serve Wisconsin
  • May 17-19, 2022: Mid-Atlantic/Northeast/Southeast Region · Burlington, VT · Hosted by SerVermont
  • June 1-3, 2022: Mountain/West Region · Albuquerque, NM · Hosted by Serve New Mexico

The primary audiences for these events are AmeriCorps State program and fiscal staff, state service commission staff, and commissioners. While not a primary audience, all other streams of national service — including National, Tribal, VISTA, NCCC, AmeriCorps Seniors, and VGF — are welcome and invited to attend.

Please review the Call for Proposals Guidelines and a copy of the full Submission Form in PDF for reference and planning purposes, including theme, workshop topics of interest, event purpose, session formats, proposal selection, and presenter costs.

For proposal-related questions, please contact Elisa Gleeson at egleeson@statecommissions.org or (940) 224-3937. Click here for up-to-date event information.

Submit your proposal(s) by midnight Eastern Time on Friday, December 31, 2021 via our online submission form.
