Call for Presenters: National Service-Learning Conference
Posted by on August 18, 2006
Mark your calendars! The 18th Annual National Service-Learning Conference: Beyond Borders, Beyond Boundaries will be held March 28-31, 2007, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The conference is the largest gathering of youths and practitioners involved in the service-learning movement, drawing more than 2,900 people from all 50 states and 12 other countries.
We are currently accepting workshop proposals for this year’s conference, and I encourage you to submit a proposal. The expertise of presenters makes the conference a powerful experience.
Please consider sharing your experience with a diverse group of conference attendees, including students, educators, state and federal officials, youth leaders, program coordinators, policy-makers, and representatives from community-based organizations. Young people are strongly encouraged to submit proposals.
Proposal Deadline: September 25, 2006.
