2012 Safe Schools Conference set for Harrisburg in May
The 2012 Safe Schools Conference will be held on May 8-9 at the Hilton Harrisburg Hotel.
The Center for Safe Schools, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, Pennsylvania State Police and the Mid-Atlantic Equity Center, has announced the two-day event with the goal of providing high quality, effective presentations addressing best practice information relative to school safety and youth violence prevention in the following Conference Strands:
• Bullying Prevention
• Conflict Management
• Emergency Response and Crisis Management
• Positive School Climate
• Student Mental Health Issues
Presentation proposals are currently being accepted through a Call for Presenters process. If you are interested in presenting one or more workshops at this year’s conference, visit here.
