Call for Papers: Planning History Conference, October 2011
The Society for American City and Regional Planning History (SACRPH) announces a Call for Papers for presentation at the 14th National Conference on Planning History, to be held in Baltimore, Maryland from October 13-16, 2011.
Papers are cordially invited on all aspects of urban, regional and community planning history. Particularly welcome are papers or complete sessions addressing architecture, planning, geography and landscape design in the Baltimore area and the mid-Atlantic region; environmental sustainability, nature and the metropolis; historic preservation; real estate; regions; public art; and studies that consider race, ethnicity, class, gender and sexuality in planning and the shaping of urban form. Abstracts are due by February 15, 2011.
