NBCDI CALL FOR PAPERS
You are invited to submit a proposal for presentations at the National Black Child Development Institute’s 39th Annual Conference “Cultivating Genius: Imagine the Possibilities,” October 24-27, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. NBCDI seeks presentations that illustrate and lead the way in research, practice, policy, advocacy, and assessment that cultivate the genius in our children. Presenters are encouraged to explore the assets and strengths in our children nurturing their natural curiosity, excitement and genius. NBCDI seeks to establish a dynamic atmosphere for presenter(s) to exchange ideas, program models, assessment tools, and academic/educational/social networks. Successful proposals will examine the myriad of issues around best practices and models to help improve the lives of children and families from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. For more information, please view our website at http://www.nbcdi.org. If you have any questions, please contact NBCDI at [email protected] or (202) 833-2220.
Proposals are due by January 30, 2009.
