Metropolitan Universities journal is accepting full manuscripts for Global Outreach and Engagement: Navigating the Tension Between Local Impacts and Global Responsibilities. Manuscripts are due by December 2, 2022. The issue is scheduled for publication in summer 2023.
Metropolitan Universities journal is pleased to announce an upcoming special issue, Global Outreach and Engagement: Navigating the Tension Between Local Impacts and Global Responsibilities. Numerous scholars have pointed to difficulty navigating the tension between local impacts and global responsibilities when engaging communities beyond our campuses (e.g. Burkhardt & Joslin, 2012; Cone & Harris, 2016; García & Longo, 2017; Hartman, Kiely, Boettcher, & Friedrichs, 2018; Hartman & Kiely, 2014; Hunter, White, & Godbey, 2006; Lasker, 2016; Schattle, 2005; Slimbach, 2010; and Sobania, 2015).
