Call for Papers for the National Outreach Scholarship Conference
Posted by on November 5, 2004
Proposals for paper and presentations are being sought for the National Outreach Scholarship Conference 2005, to be held October 20-4, 2005 in Athens, GA. The conference theme, “Tranformation thorugh Engagement” focuses on ways in which faculty and staff in the public service, outreach and engagement arenas can chance and even transform the environments in which they function. Societal problems are not static and therefore solutions cannot be static. To be effective, the engaged institution must continuosly transform itself to address changing societal needs.
Proposals are invited from university faculty and staff, university and community leaders, graduate students and other outreach practitioners.
Proposals are due by February 10, 2005.
