2006 CoRAL Conference on Community Driven Research and Social Change in the National Capital Region
“Transforming DC through Community Based Learning and Research”
CoRAL’s annual conference on community-driven research brings together faculty, students and community change agents to present findings and foment discussion on the importance of community-based learning and research on critical social justice issues such as affordable housing, health care, civic engagement, public education, and employment. The 2006 conference theme “Transforming DC through Community Based Learning and Research”* to be held on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at American University Mary Graydon Center. On-line registration will open November 15, 2005 to anyone engaged in community-based learning and research. The general registration fee of $25 is discounted for students.
Faculty and students of CoRAL university and CBO partners are especially encouraged to submit papers and poster presentations. The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2006.
