Special Issue of NONPROFIT AND VOLUNTARY SECTOR QUARTERLY (NVSQ) on "Community and Grassroots Associations/Organizations"
This issue will highlight new research and theory on a wide variety of local grassroots associations and organizations that are important to democracy, social capital, civic participation, and civil society. Examples include social movement groups; self-help, mutual aid, and social service organizations; civic, recreational and leisure associations; youth groups; professional associations. Papers must be previously unpublished.
GUEST EDITORS
The guest editors of this issue are Professor Susan A. Interested authors should contact Professors Ostrander and Smith directly with any questions.
