30th Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference, Exploring Global Awareness and Sustainable Development to Build a Better World, Salamanca, Spain, May 26-28, 2022
As an interdisciplinary organization, the Global Awareness Society International (GASI) is about sharing ideas to make the world a better place. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framed by the United Nations General Assembly impact the whole world. Recent events worldwide bring the SDGs to the forefront for scholars and practitioners to assess ways of ensuring social cohesion, economic prosperity, protection of the environment, health, and well-being. This year’s theme is “Exploring Global Awareness and Sustainable Development to Build a Better World.”
We invite authors to submit abstracts for Paper Sessions that align with at least one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals listed below:
(1) No Poverty, (2) Zero Hunger, (3) Good Health and Well-being, (4) Quality Education, (5) Gender Equality, (6) Clean Water and Sanitation, (7) Affordable and Clean Energy, (8) Decent Work and Economic Growth, (9) Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, (10) Reduced Inequality, (11) Sustainable Cities and Communities, (12) Responsible Consumption and Production, (13) Climate Action, (14) Life Below Water, (15) Life on Land, (16) Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and (17) Partnerships to achieve the Goals.
Sessions will be organized into 90-minute periods with 5-6 presentations, so each presenter will have approximately 15 minutes to present. All sessions will be held in Salamanca, Spain at the conference headquarters, Las Claras Hotel, or at the University of Salamanca on Friday, May 27th, and Saturday, 28th, 2022.
Submit a proposal by January 14, 2022.
