Call for Nominations: Multisector Partner Group, Center for Health Justice – Feb 18
Posted by AAMC Center for Health Justice on January 25, 2022
A guiding principle of the AAMC Center for Health Justice is that our goal – for all communities to thrive – reaches beyond health care. That’s why we’re looking for voices from beyond health care who can help guide us.
We are pleased to announce that we are seeking members for the center’s multisector partner group, from sectors both within and outside of health care and academic medicine – and especially from sectors such as:
- Arts and technology
- Community and economic development
- Neighborhood and environment
- Social and community context
- Transportation
- Education
- Food and water
- Housing and real estate
- Health care
- Public health
- Criminal justice
- Law, policy, and government
We’re looking for 8-10 members who will help inform the Center for Health Justice’s priorities and strategy, including the All in for Health Justice initiative that is intended to make a significant impact on health justice. Members are expected to dedicate about 5-6 hours a month, which will include attending virtual meetings and socializing the initiative throughout the sectors of society to foster sustainable change. It is a three-year term – and members will be compensated for their work.
Application Deadline: February 18, 2022, 11:59 p.m. ET
