    • Call for Nominations: K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award – Oct 3

    Nominations are now open for the . This award recognizes graduate students planning a career in higher education who demonstrate exemplary promise as future leaders and are committed to academic innovation in equity, community engagement, and teaching and learning.

    Nomination Process: Eligible nominees holding student status as of January 2026, must be nominated by a faculty member or administrator.

    Nominations require:

    • a Cross Award nomination form;
    • a nomination letter;
    • a supporting letter;
    • a statement from the student indicating how they meet the award criteria; and,
    • a copy of the student’s curriculum vitae.

    Benefits: Award recipients receive full financial support to attend AAC&U’s Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, and a one-year subscription to magazine.
