Call for Artists, LoLa38
Posted by Drexel University on March 13, 2017
Who We Are
LoLa38 is a creative placemaking collaboration between the Lindy Institute at Drexel University, Wexford Science & Technology, and the People’s Emergency Center CDC.
Our mission is to encourage civic conversation through the artistic activation of the assets (social and geographic) which make Lower Lancaster Avenue a gateway to West Philadelphia’s culture and community
Our work centers around the intersection of 38th/Lancaster/Powelton and the two parcels slated for re-development: The United Bank Building and the University City High School.
The best way to learn more is to attend an info session and site visit on March 15th. You can RSVP here.
If you’re not able to attend please email us and we’ll add to this list: [email protected]
