Registration and a tentative agenda are now available online for the Sixth annual Outreach Scholarship Conference. This year’s conference is hosted by The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio October 8-10. The 2006 Conference focuses on “Engagement through the Disciplines,” addressing the unique approaches to community-academic scholarly outreach through the Discipline lens. In addition, a special issue of the Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement is accepting articles on “Engagement Through the Disciplines” through October 15.

In addition to the Outreach Scholarship conference, Columbus is hosting the national Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life ?Engagement Through Place? conference October 7th and 8th. On October 8th, the Imagining America and Outreach Scholarship conferences will be held jointly. We look forward to seeing you in downtown Columbus this fall! The conference is sponsored by The Ohio State University, Pennsylvania State University, University of Wisconsin-Extension and University of Georgia.
