Dear Colleagues,

The Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning (MJCSL), a national, peer-reviewed journal, seeks one-page abstracts of potential article submission for volume 11 (fall 04 / winter 05).

The MJCSL published research, theory, pedagogy, and other issues related to curriculum-based service-learning in higher education. The Journal has 2,000 paid subscribers, a submission acceptance rate between 15% and 20%, and publishes two issues per volume.

Abstracts are due December 20, 2003. Invitations to submit an article will be extended in mid-January, and invited articles will be due March 24, 2004.

For paper submission guidelines and to view abstracts from previous volumes, please visit the MJCSL web page at:

Abstracts may be submitted to me via e-mail, standard mail, or fax (see info in “signature” below).

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
