Call for Abstracts: Anti-Racist Community Engagement: Principles and Practices – Jun 3
Posted by Campus Compact on April 12, 2022
We are thrilled to share an invitation to contribute to an edited collection titled, Anti-Racist Community Engagement: Principles and Practices to be published by Campus Compact in collaboration with Stylus Publishing.
With this collection, the co-editors (faculty from different disciplines and community engagement professionals) seek contributions from community-engaged writers across roles and positionalities (faculty, staff, administrators, practitioners, graduate students, and community members/partners) who share and analyze their experiences (teaching, research, practice) on and off college campuses using anti-racist community engagement principles. This interdisciplinary effort relies on established ARCE Principles as a shared language and toolkit to support informed action and ongoing conversations regarding anti-racist community engaged practices on campuses, within communities, and in the classroom.
Please see the CFP for more details. Abstracts are due June 3!
Please share with your networks, and if you have any questions or would like to share and discuss ideas for an abstract, please contact Cynthia Lynch at clynch@salemstate.edu. Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues.
