Businesses sought, Procurement Supplier Diversity Development Initiative

Join Drexel’s Procurement Supplier Diversity Development Initiative

The initiative is designed to support Drexel University’s goal of being recognized as the “most civic minded institution in the country” while ensuring the inclusion of local community based and diversity owned suppliers who are interested in establishing a business relationship with the University’s Procurement Services department.

The required diversity certifications, service and business capabilities, and expectations of delivering the level of client service and support are outlined in Supplier Engagement Process to ease the initial interaction between the supplier and Procurement Services.

To Get Started:

  • Does your company meet one of the eight Diverse Business Classifications or is located in one of the seven zip codes to be classified as a west or southwest Local Community Business**?
  • Is your company a certified or self-certified minority-owned business?
  • Does your company meet the minimum supplier procurement process capabilities?
  • Can your company fulfill its commitment to meeting the University’s qualified business expectations?
