Experienced Business Manager with experience in human resources and financial management

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network, a regional nonprofit, environmental organization, seeks a Business Manager. The Business Manager, a new position for the organization, will report directly to the Delaware Riverkeeper and is responsible for oversight, implementation, and day-to-day operations of: Organizational Policy, Budget & Administration, Financial Stability and Human Resources. The Business Manager will work to help ensure the status of DRN as an efficiently and effectively managed organization, especially in terms of fiscal planning and management.

This is a high-level organizational position, requiring experience in nonprofit administration and management. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the non-profit setting in progressively responsible positions. Other qualifications include: Passionate belief in DRN’s mission; a track record of strong management across general administrative functions; excellent skills in communication; proven success in grant writing and effective communications; demonstrated experience working with widely diverse teams, a Master’s degree or knowledge, skills, and experience equivalent to a graduate degree in management preferred; environmental advocacy management or non-profit management experience a strong plus. Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000.
