Business Corridor Research Assistant
The Business Corridor Research Assistant (BCRA) will assist Empowerment Group define and identify all business corridors in the city of Philadelphia. The BCRA will development an outreach plan to engage business corridor leaders, associations and business owners and conduct surveys, focus groups and evaluations of business corridors to assess needs & challenges for those corridors. The BCRA will then evaluate the raw data into a useable format that will assist in attracting prospective new businesses to those corridors
The Business Corridor Research Assistant should demonstrate
§ Strong research skills
§ Strategic planning skills
§ Strong communication skills
§ Presentation skills, experience facilitating group activities/presentations
§ Strong analytical skills
§ Interest/experience with city/urban planning and/or urban studies
§ Familiarity with Philadelphia neighborhoods a benefit
§ Fluency in Spanish preferred
