Busesito: Free Mobile Preschool

Xiente, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering economic mobility, is pleased to announce it is accepting applications for its fall cohort of Busesito. Busesito is the east coast’s first mobile preschool, bringing kindergarten readiness around Philadelphia where it’s needed. Goals of this free, bi-lingual preschool program are: to provide pre-school readiness education to children 3-5 years old who are being cared for by informal child care providers (also known in the state of Pennsylvania as a “Relative Provider”); capacity building services to in-home/informal caregivers; and support services for families whose children are participating in the program.
