Time: 8:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Location: Widener University, Chester, PA
The Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities is pleased to present the Mid-Atlantic Facilitated Dialogue hosted by President Jim Harris at Widener University. Aptly themed “Building Sustainable Funding for Engagement: Advancing Engagement in an Urban Environment,” this dialogue explores how urban and metropolitan universities leverage their unique missions and contexts to attract public and private support for university-community engagement. Facilitated by Dr. David Weerts, this conversation will examine how campuses might expand opportunities for philanthropic support as it relates to engaged teaching, research, and service.
Space is limited for this dialogue, so reserve your seat immediately. We encourage university teams to attend that might include presidents, vice presidents for development/advancement, vice presidents for engagement, and directors and senior administrators in the areas of development/advancement and community engagement.
