Save the Date, December 4th: Facilitated Dialogue themed “Building Sustainable Funding for Engagement: Advancing Engagement in an Urban Environment.”
The Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities Executive Committee is excited to announce the next Regional Facilitated Dialogue themed “Building Sustainable Funding for Engagement: Advancing Engagement in an Urban Environment.” This meeting is geared towards university presidents, community engagement leaders, and senior development officers; ideally each university attending will send teams of 2-3 people. The dialogue is being hosted by Dr. James T. Harris, Vice President of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities and President of Widener University with support from the Anchors Institutions Task Force.

Meet the Facilitator
Dr. David Weerts is the Co-Director for the Jandris Center for Innovative Higher Education at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. His work as both practitioner and scholar has focused on state-university relations, institutional advancement, and university-community engagement.
