This webinar will discuss the recently released report “Building a Grad Nation,” called “required reading for anyone interested in public education in America” by Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The report’s authors will discuss the strides that have been made in the past decade in reducing the dropout rate; focus on states such as Tennessee and New York that have seen particularly dramatic improvement; and showcase the practical and effective strategies that have moved the needle. The webinar will also provide research-based recommendations for educators, school and district leaders, and policymakers on the way forward.
