Posted by BuildaBridge Institute on July 9, 2019
An introduction to BaB’s person-centered, strength-based, trauma informed pedagogy (5hrs), this presentation will use didactic, arts-based, and experiential methods to teach key concepts of the BuildaBridge Safe Spaces Model, a person-centered, trauma-informed, and hope-infused model for collaborative art-making experiences implemented by community-minded creative arts therapists and professional artists.
The BuildaBridge Institute for Applied Restorative Arts is an online professional development program for care-givers who want to integrate trauma-informed and arts-based approaches for their work with children, youth, families and communities in the contexts of crisis and poverty. Courses are based on the BuildaBridge Safe Spaces Classroom SM model and the Arts in Restorative Transformation philosophic approach.
