Women Against Abuse, Inc (WAA) is currently recruiting for a Budget Manager.

Women Against Abuse, the city’s leading domestic violence service provider, is looking for an experienced accounting/finance professional to join its Finance Department as a Budget Manager!

WAA is the leading and largest provider of services to victims of domestic violence in both the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The mission of WAA is to provide is quality, compassionate and nonjudgmental services in a manner that fosters self-respect and independence in persons experiencing intimate partner violence and to lead the struggle to end domestic violence through advocacy and community education. With just about 100 staff, WAA serves more than 15,000 individuals each year through emergency housing (100 bed shelter), transitional housing (15 apartments and support to various scattered housing sites), legal services, hotline counseling, education/training and advocacy. We recently were awarded a contract from the Philadelphia Office of Supportive Housing to provide additional supportive services to victims including the operation of a new 100 bed Domestic Violence Safe Haven.
