BUCKS COUNTY RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATOR – FULL TIME
Who We Are
The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc., an affiliate of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD), is a private non-profit organization serving Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. Our Mission
To provide resources and opportunities to reduce the impact of addiction, trauma and other related health issues for the entire community. We accomplish this through prevention, consultation, education, advocacy, assessment, intervention and recovery support services.
Required Education
Master’s degree in human services related field or demonstrated relevant experience working in the drug/alcohol and recovery field. Licensing and/or credentialing in the addiction field preferred.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years organizational/supervisory experience. Knowledge of alcohol and other drug prevention with an understanding of recovery issues. Minimum of one year of successful and progressive experience in service/program delivery with a non-profit organization. Cross-cultural skills, and experience with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with general public; knowledge of neighborhood community, faith, social service organizations and businesses; empowerment and group dynamics skills. Must be able to work well with people. Knowledge of multiple languages a plus. Current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, insurance and vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pro-Act Bucks County
• Collaborate with Bucks Co. intersecting systems to provide coordinated approach to recovery support services.
• Increase sustainability & incorporate fee for service model-goal June 30, 2013.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop & implement goals & objectives for Bucks Co. Pro-Act programs.
• Oversight of delivery of residential and peer to peer recovery support services in Bucks County.
• Identify and pursue grant and program opportunities as well as other funding.
• Explore, develop and implement fee for service structure for recovery ctrs.
• Review activity reports and financial statements to meet objectives.
• Identify potential Vision Team members as needed for recovery ctrs.
• Community and membership development and engagement.
• Manage site logistics for recovery ctrs.
• Assist with public relations and event planning.
Administration
• Maintain positive working relationship with staff, involve community agencies, trouble shoot as necessary to resolve issues related to project activities.
• Oversee data collection
• Coordinate staff meetings, attend management mtgs.
• Evaluate staff performance, comply with policies and procedures.
• Abide by and enforce Personnel Policy, including but not limited to: code of conduct/ethics; technology code of conduct; non-discrimination policy.
