Bucks Nonprofit Center hosts Meet the Funders events

The Bucks County Center for Nonprofit Management will sponsor two Meet the Funders events on Tuesday, May 5th, at the Pennsylvania Center for Biotechnology, 3805 Old Easton Road in Doylestown.

The morning session from 8:30am-noon will feature a Community Funders Panel including Linda Goodwin of the Bucks County Foundation, Ron Bernstein of the Foundations Community Partnership, and Ann Bucci of the Fourjay Foundation.  Russell Johnson president of the North Penn Community Health Foundation, will facilitate.  The morning session will also feature a presentation on researching and writing grants led by Laura Biersmith of Biersmith Associates Fundraising Initiatives & Development Services.

The afternoon session from 1-4:30pm will highlight corporate funders and feature a panel discussion with Brian Jeter of the Comcast Foundation, Robin Marchman of the Beneficial Bank Foundation, Geri Thompson of Waste Management Foundation, and Christina Kerrigan of the Exelon Foundation (tentative).  Grant writer Dina Ricciardi will also speak on grant writing tips and techniques.

Each session costs $35, and one board member may attend at no cost with a paid registrant from an agency.
