(Easily accessible via public transportation-take 2 or 5 express train to 149th/Grand Concourse – Hostos Community College is located right above the 149th/Grand Concourse train station.)
Topics of interest: Food deserts, lack of access to healthy, fresh affordable food, food policy, culturally relevant cooking demos w/a healthy twist, food production/economics/green jobs, health/diet and youth
workshops.
