Broadening the Conversation: Menopause and Shared Decision Making

This half-day conference is open to the community and healthcare providers to discuss menopause symptom management and results from a recent study on menopause treatment and shared decision making.
Whether you’re a woman seeking care or a clinician providing care, menopause poses opportunities for shared decision making. Shared decision making is a way in which clinicians and patients work together to make decisions about treatment options.
This half-day conference will cover:
* The latest information on menopuase treatments from Jefferson experts
* Research on shared decision making and managing menopause symptoms
* Provider led small group discussions
* Community resources and demonstrations incluing massage, Tai Chi and acupuncture throughout the event
