Bridging the Gaps Annual Symposium – Oct 6 & 7
Posted by Bridging the Gaps on August 12, 2025
This year celebrates 35 years of impact and innovation. This two-day event is open to the broader community, and designed to provide a forum for dialogue and networking opportunities around health and wellbeing.
Join us at the historic College of Physicians in Philadelphia on October 6 & 7 for an unforgettable celebration marking the 35th anniversary of Bridging the Gaps.
The Symposium event begins on the evening of October 6th with the premiere of the feature-length Bridging the Gaps documentary film directed by Peabody Award Winner André Robert Lee and narrated by acclaimed actor Wendell Pierce. The documentary was developed as a vehicle to spark multi-sector dialogue focused on improving access to health and well-being for all.
October 7th begins with highlighting the work of our students and community partners from the 2025 internship program, followed by Bridging the Gaps Awardee and Keynote Attorney Fred Gray (94-year-old, civil rights activist, state legislator, and attorney). At 11:00 AM, we will begin the Projects in Progress session, which will be followed by the closing session and reception, entitled, How do you know you are making a difference? Attendees will include alumni, community members, grantmakers, public health officials and other BTG stakeholders with the goal of leveraging BTG’s multi-sector approach to foster action, advocacy, networking, and partnerships through diverse expertise (CME/CEU’s available).
