Breakfast with the Stars: Storytelling for Impact
TUESDAY, MAY 17 2016
9:00 AM — 11:00 AM
The nonprofit world has an abundance of inspiring stories…but does your organization have the skills needed to tell these stories in a way that motivates people and leads to action?
To engage the hearts, heads, and hands of your audience, you must master storytelling for impact. And with so many options for communication — social media, digital, traditional — telling the same story across multiple platforms can be a challenge. We’re here to help!
During this robust panel presentation moderated by Lansie Sylvia, HMC’s Director of Engagement, we’ll discuss how to use creative, strategic storytelling tactics across traditional and digital communication platforms.
- Stefanie Arck-Baynes, Deputy Director of Communications at Philabundance
- Kathryn Bezella, Vice President for External Affairs and Patron Engagement at The Curtis Institute of Music
- Larry Platt, Editor of The Philadelphia Citizen
- TBD!
The event is proudly hosted by the Regional Foundation Center at the Free Library of Philadelphia. We will be in the Skyline Room, located on the 4th Floor.
WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A BREAKFAST SPONSOR! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE EMAIL [email protected].
The panel will begin promptly at 9:30am and conclude at 10:30am. Come early at 9am or stay late until 11am for mingling and networking!
