Borealis Philanthropy Spark Justice Fund Invites Proposals for COVID-Related Needs – Oct 21

The Spark Justice Fund is a donor collaborative at Borealis Philanthropy that supports grassroots organizing and advocacy groups to end the use of cash bail in the criminal justice system, transform pretrial justice, and build power in communities most impacted by incarceration in the United States.
To that end, the fund has issued a call for proposals COVID-related rapid response grants. Grants of up to $50,000 (though most are anticipated to be in the range of $15,000 to $25,000) will be awarded to grassroots organizing groups working to transform pretrial justice to meet urgent needs emerging out of the COVID-19 pandemic in jails and communities.
