Book drive to benefit Kensington CAPA
Posted by on February 10, 2014
KCAPA is in desperate need of adult and young adult books that are in readable condition. Books should be new, like new or gently used. Fiction books of all levels and nonfiction books at the young adult or adult level (appropriate for grades 6-adult) are needed. Classroom sets appreciated. Any children’s books that are donated will be passed on to the neighborhood elementary school. Our goal is to gather 1,500 single books this month, and 20 classroom sets. That will be enough to fill out our English and Social Studies classroom libraries, as well as replenishing our main library shelves. If your business would like to host a donation box, please contact Julia Boyer at [email protected]. To donate books, please drop them off at KCAPA (1901 N. Front Street), the PHENND office (3624 Market Street, Suite 5W), or contact Julia Boyer at [email protected] to arrange a pickup.
