The Spruce Foundation is seeking the city’s finest young professionals to join its team!

Spruce’s mission is to cultivate the next generation of philanthropists through community giving and grantmaking in support of Philadelphia’s youth. Do you have what it takes to elevate Philly’s young philanthropy?

Each year, the members of the Spruce Foundation host engagement events to educate and energize people around our mission. We use strategic partnership and community fundraising (including our signature event, Spruce Gala) to support our grantmaking endeavors. And following a rigorous application review process, we award $20,000 in grants to youth-serving organizations in the city, one representing each of our four focus areas: Arts; Education; Health & Wellness; and LGBTQ issues.

Spruce is looking for innovative dynamos who can help us reach our goals and broaden our presence in the young professional community in Philadelphia. There are opportunities to be involved at both the board and committee levels.

You should apply if you:

• have big ideas and a can-do spirit
• are passionate about volunteerism, civic engagement, and general changemaking
• can commit to attending monthly board meetings & occasional committee meetings
• want to help shape the future of Philly philanthropy
