Cancellation:
“Only the Ball Was White” Presentation
to be Rescheduled
Please note that the “Only the Ball Was White” Negro Baseball League presentation, scheduled for Saturday, February 27th at 11:00a.m. at the J. Lewis Crozer Library, has been cancelled.
The program will be rescheduled in the spring (when there will be absolutely no more snow!)
We thank everyone for their interest and patience and apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you and have a nice weekend.

African American Poetry Appreciation. Community members share poems by African American poets.
1:00p.m.-3:00p.m.
Storytelling, dance, song, and more, featuring some of the Chester’s gifted young adults.
Only the Ball Was White

Join Commonwealth Speaker Mr. B.G. Kelley as he educates us about Negro League Baseball. Celebrate Black History Month by appreciating fine athletes and learning important national and sports history. This presentation is a program of the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
