Posted by Free Library of Philadelphia on February 3, 2026
February is Black History Month and the Free Library is proudly celebrating the culture, contributions, and heritage of the Black community. This Black History Month, the Free Library of Philadelphia celebrates Black History as a living and evolving story. Through books, programs, music, and shared experiences, we honor the culture, creativity, and contributions of Black communities while creating a space for learning, reflection, and connection across generations.
Join us for a variety of programs from music performances and craft workshops to movies and cooking demonstrations.
