United Communities Southeast Philadelphia – Bilingual After School Group Leader
United Communities Southeast Philadelphia has an immediate opening for an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) After School Group Leader in their Out-of-School Time program. The Group Leader will be responsible for the implementation of weekly lesson plans for their assigned group. Duties include assisting students with daily homework assignments and providing individual tutoring when needed.
The Group Leader is also responsible for providing lessons on social skills activities that enhance awareness and appreciation of cultural heritage, in particular the Latino culture. Qualified candidates should have experience working with at-risk children ages 5 through 10 years in an educational environment. Must have a high school diploma and completed a minimum of 21 college credits in education, psychology or related field of study.
