Bike Part Art Auction
On Saturday June 7th at 1:00pm Neighborhood Bike Works (NBW) is holding a Bike Part Art Auction at the Free Library of Philadelphia, 1901 Vine Street. Philadelphia?s finest non-profit auctioneer, Todd Kimmell, will lead the event, auctioning artwork that incorporates bike parts made by local artists such as, Randall Cleaver, Joe Tiberino, and Isaiah Zagar.
The pieces will be on display at the central library throughout the week prior to the auction, Mon. June 2nd -Sat. June 7th, on the first floor East wing during regular hours (Mon.-Thu. 9-9 pm Fri. 9-6 pm, Sat. 9-5 pm) All are welcome and encouraged to preview the work.
All proceeds benefit NBW, a nonprofit youth development program in West Philadelphia, which creates opportunities for neighborhood youth through bicycling.
