Best Buy seeks partners to host Summer Academy camps
For the past five summers, Best Buy has inspired more than 6,000 students to discover more about the digitally-connected world through its Geek Quad Summer Academies.
This year, Best Buy has created a Request for Proposals to offer the opportunity for non-profit organizations to become a partner and host a camp between June and August this year.
Each Summer Academy event is designed to instill knowledge and confidence with technology through a unique learning process that differs from a normal classroom environment.
Energetic, knowledgeable, and committed Geek Squad Agents along with Best Buy employees use a hands-on approach to teaching today’s technology in an active, fun and effective manner.
Partners would provide a location to facilitate the event and group of students to participate. Summer Academy is an in-kind donation to the nonprofits and their community.
The deadline for submitting proposals is May 7, 2011. For more information, go here.
