CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Position: The Benefit Bank Counselor
Place: Various locations around Philadelphia
Hours: Part-Time Temporary, adaptable to individual schedules
The Benefit Bank (TBB) is a counselor aided internet service for moderate- and low- income working families, and individuals, to increase their incomes dramatically. TBB offers access to tax credits and government benefits that may assist in easing the hardships of living with too little income.
TBB is looking for counselors to serve at various locations in the Philadelphia area to assist people in obtaining the maximum benefits available.
Counselors must be computer and Internet literate. Willing to listen and actively engage with clients, while remaining sensitive to various time and work place constraints. Counselors will be trained on TBB, so no prior knowledge of taxes or benefits is necessary.
