Stonewall Community Foundation Accepting Applications for Bee’s Fund Microgrants

The Stonewall Community Foundation is accepting applications for its Bee’s Fund Microgrants program.

Through the program, grants ranging up to $650 will be awarded to help young women who have lost family support because of their sexual orientation or gender identity to become self-sufficient.

Expenses that may be covered by a microgrant include but are not limited to GED tutoring or classes; uniforms needed for work; undergraduate college application fees; vocational training, licensing, and testing fees; domestic needs such as bedding or rental security deposits; and fees associated with securing a legal name change or gender-affirming ID.

To be eligible, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25, reside in the United States, and identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, or gender nonconforming.

See the Stonewall Community Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
