GLBT community supporting Philadelphia’s children in need – Becoming a foster/adoptive parent
The Philadelphia Department of Human Services and partnering community-based organizations invite the GLBT community and friends to learn more about foster care and adoption in Philadelphia. DHS Commissioner, Alba Martinez, and other child welfare professionals will answer questions from the community and talk about the benefits and procedures around foster care and adoption for Philadelphia?s children in need. Screening of documentary ? Daddy & Papa. Light fare provided.
This event will take place on May 22, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm is being held at the Sedgwick Theater in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia.
