Become a Philly Counts Vaccine Champion – Mar 18
Posted by Philly Counts on March 16, 2021
There’s still time to register for our first Vaccine Champion Training! We are so excited to launch this trusted messenger training program in partnership with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health on Thursday, March 18th at 6:00-7:30 pm in English, Spanish, and Mandarin.
Over the course of our focus groups and phone banking outreach, we’ve learned that our communities have many questions about the vaccine. These questions range from how the COVID-19 vaccines were produced so quickly, to information about translation services and privacy protections, to how you can make an appointment to receive the vaccine once you are eligible, and many others. We know this is a confusing process and we are standing with you ready to help. The Vaccine Champion Training will answer all of these questions and more, and will prepare you to be a trusted messenger in your communities.
The COVID-19 Vaccine Champion training will be a 90-minute multilingual session that covers a variety of topics related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Please see the registration links below and select a training in your preferred language for Thursday, March 18th at 6:00pm:
