Become a Campus Compact VISTA Host Site – Apr 13
Posted by Campus Compact on March 22, 2022
Want greater capacity for your civic action, community engagement, and anti-poverty work? Campus Compact is expanding our AmeriCorps VISTA program! We’re seeking proposals from campuses to host an AmeriCorps member who will support your anti-poverty initiatives that serve low-income students on campus or low-income individuals in local communities.
AmeriCorps members serve year-long terms building capacity for high-impact programs, organizational approaches, and collective impact efforts in education, healthy futures, economic opportunity, veterans/military families, and environmental stewardship. Campus Compact AmeriCorps members:
- strengthen educational outcomes for K-12 youth
- help low-income college students access resources and experiences that increase retention and graduation
- connect Veterans, community members, and families to programs and services
- and much, much more!
This is a national call for projects! For the 2022-2023 grant cycle, applications are invited from Campus Compact member campuses and community partners from across the country. Minority serving institutions, rural serving institutions, and institutions in and serving areas of deep poverty are highly encouraged to apply.
Application Deadline: The priority deadline will be 11:59 PT on April 13, 2022 with rolling applications considered after that date
