Be a Home.Buy.Now employer

Did you know that UAC’s Community & Economic Development (CED) team offers FREE down payment assistance grants to employees purchasing a home?
Just last month, CED was awarded a $100,000 PHARE Grant from the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency (PHFA) to continue UAC’s work through the Philadelphia Home.Buy.Now program. CED is seeking new employers to join the network!
Here’s how it works– When a Philadelphia employer chooses to provide their employees with a monetary benefit to purchase a home ($500 minimum) the Urban Affairs Coalition then matches that grant, dollar-for-dollar, up to $4,000. The program is flexible, based on the needs of the organization, and CED also has other housing related services and education to offer all participating employers.
The Home.Buy.Now network currently has over 30 employer partners – both large and small – from art galleries, home improvement firms, food co-ops, universities, and hospitals.
