Community Cookout to Fund Schools, Not New Jails!
The City of Philadelphia is talking about spending over $300 million to build a new jail. We’re coming together to envision a Philly People’s Agenda on Mass Incarceration and talk about how the city can bring people home and close down old jails instead of building news one.
Saturday, September 19th, 2-5 PM
8th & Diamond Playground
Join us for food and music, fun activities for kids, and a community dialogue about how we can bring people home from Philly’s jails.
