Bank of America issues RFP for organizations working in basic needs, workforce development
Bank of America has issued an RFP for economic mobility focused on needs of individuals and families.
Under the RFP, grants will be awarded in the following areas:
Health: The foundation is focusing on programs and organizations working to address the economic and social conditions that influence family stability and an individual’s health, including access to quality community-based health services, crisis-prevention tied to family stabilization programs, and other poverty-related issues. Examples include prevention and access to health care, food access and nutrition, family stabilization, and services for the homeless.
Jobs: The foundation aims to build pathways to employment by supporting a range of workforce development opportunities, including education, upskilling, and reskilling programs that will help individuals and families stabilize and advance. Examples include youth workforce development and employment, skills training for adults through alternate routes, removing barriers to employment, and academic institutions and student support.
Grant amounts vary by market and organization size. While there are local variations, as a general guide, grant amounts in larger markets can range from $5,000 to $50,000. Grant amounts in smaller markets can range from $2,500 to $25,000.
The foundation will be accepting applications for this opportunity between January 22, 2024, and February 16, 2024.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Bank of America website.
Deadline: February 16, 2024
