Back to School Party at City Hall
Posted by on September 03, 2012
I’ve met/worked with many of you around the way in the last few months. I am Edisa Rodriguez – the College Access Manager for PhillyGoes2College at the Mayor’s Office of Education.
I’m writing to ask that you help us spread the word about the HUGE back to school party we are throwing in City Hall on the first day of school for high school students only.
We are shutting down the Courtyard and DJ Damage (a college grad and one of the best DJs in Philly) will be djing (and sharing his college-going story). September 7th, 5:30-8pm. This will be a celebration of the new academic year and we will be promoting college-going. We want to do something positive and fun for our high school students.
There will be tons of giveaways and area colleges/organizations will be there to share information. The flyer is attached and an email you can forward is also included below. I am horrible with Twitter but here are some sample tweets to get you started:
Party with DJ Damage at City Hall Courtyard, September 7th, 5:30-8pm. High School students ONLY. School ID REQUIRED.
High school students only – Back to School party at City Hall Courtyard, September 7th, 5:30-8pm. DJ Damage, Giveaways, and more.
