District plans back to school block party
The School District of Philadelphia will hold an all-day Family and Community Back to School Block Party on Friday, August 7th from 9am to 3pm. The event takes place on at the District’s headquarters near Broad and Spring Garden Streets.
In addition to orientations for new students, workshops and information groups, the day features performances by area choirs and recording artists, food, dance groups, giveaways and prizes.
The event is sponsored by the District’s Office of Parent, Family and Community Engagement. To download flyers in several languages, click here.
