Announcing a Call for Nominations!
Is your school board a champion of your district’s extended-day programs or your local after-school programs? Does your board collaborate with other local organizations and agencies to promote the success of children and youth beyond the regular school day? The National School Boards Association (NSBA) is looking for school districts with strong school board leadership and collaboration practices that support after-school programs. Success stories will be shared in upcoming publications and featured at NSBA’s 2005 Annual Conference.
The nomination form is available on the NSBA website through the Extended-Day Learning Opportunities (EDLO) Online Resource Center at http://www.nsba.org/edlo. The deadline for submissions is June 25, 2004, so nominate your district today!
